The meeting was started with the presiding officer welcoming all guests followed by all attendees introducing themselves. After a round of introduction, the presiding officer handed over control to the Toastmaster of the Evening.

The TME briefed the guests about Toastmasters and its journey. After the briefing, the TME called upon the role players to introduce their roles before proceeding with Table Topics session.

The table topics sessions saw three participants in which the topics were related to theme of the day “Election”.

After the table topics session, the TME called for a 15 minutes intermission.

The SAA called for the meeting to resume after the break and handed over control to the TME. It was time for Project Speech Session and there were four participants.

The participants for the Prepared Speech are as follows:-

1. Project No.2 from Competent Communicator Manual – “Presenting Super Passionate Club – Gold Award to IEM TM” by Lee Meng Tze, ACG, ALB.

2. Project No.5 from Special Occasion Speeches – “Accepting Award” by Chia Meng Yee, CC. ALB.

3. Project No. 3 from Specialty Speeches – “Sell A Product” by Andrew Nathan, CC.

4. Project No. 2 from Story Telling – “When Life Throws You a Pickle!” by Alex Lu, ACB.

After the project speech session, the TME invited the General Evaluator ACB, CL Suresh to take control. The General Evaluator invited other role players to present their report and after receiving their report, the General Evaluator presented his comments.

After the General Evaluator presented his comments, election of new office bearers was conducted and the following members are elected as the new office bearers for term 2012/2013:-

President : Lee Meng Tze, ACG, ALB.
Vice President Education : Alex Lu, ACB.
Vice President Membership : Kanagaraj Pillay, ACB. 
Vice President Public Relations : Andrew Nathan, CC.

This meeting was another milestone achievement for IEM Toastmasters as it was visited by a well accomplished, world renowned champion  speaker DTM Dana Lamon who is also TI Accredite Speaker and Plenary Speaker at KL Toastmasters Annual Convention 2012.

There were four project speakers with a variety of speeches from both competent communicator manual and advance manual. The participants for the Prepared Speech are as follows:-
1. Project No.6 from Competent Communicator Manual – “Shake It Off & Step Up” by Anthony, TM.
2. Project No.1 from Storytelling Manual – “Ghost Festival” by Alex Lu, ACB.
3. HPL Presentation by Robert Ram, ACG, ALB.
4. HPL Presentation by Lee Meng Tze, ACG, ALB.

After the project session, the TME called for a 15 minutes intermission.

After hearing a wonderful and inspiring speech from the DTM Dana Lamon, the TME invited and handed over control to the General Evaluator. The General Evaluator invited other role players to present their report and after receiving their report, the General Evaluator presented his comments.

Word of the Day: Ignominious   

This meeting was another milestone achievement for IEM Toastmasters as one of its members who have completed the Advance Speeches Manual received an Advance Communicator Bronze title. The award was presented to none other than Alex Lu, IEM TM Vice President Education by our Club President Chia Meng Yee during her speech to Honor A New ACB.

The meeting was started with the presiding officer welcoming all guests followed by all attendees introducing themselves. After a round of introduction, the presiding officer handed over control to the Toastmaster of the Evening.
